In Sept 2010, I responded to www.theobamahamp.com, thinking this was a gov't run modification program I was dealing with.  I paid $2,195. for this service, which has got me nothing.  I've been submitting information for months.  I talked to the mediator on March 16 & was told it would be completed in a week or so.  I emailed a couple of days ago and was told Homesafe America shut there doors.  Now I've found through the internet, the company is now under United Solutions Corp with the same people.  As of today, I've not been able to connect with anyone from either company.

Tue, July 19, 2011

Hello,

I am writing as a pro bono attorney working with the Prevent Loan Scams Project of the Lawyers' Committee, a not-for-profit organization based in New York.  My colleagues and I, of the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, are working with Lawyers' Committee to investigate entities and individuals that are possibly involved in loan modification scam operations.  We are trying to help people who have been scammed, and are working free of charge, on a pro bono basis.

We have seen several complaints on the internet concerning United Solutions Law Firm.  If you have a complaint about this company, we would be interested in speaking with you to learn more about your experience and investigate the company further.

There is no charge for anything we do for or with you.  We are simply trying to help.  You can learn more about the Prevent Loan Scams project at www.preventloanscams.org.

Please feel free to contact us at cflg.intake@davispolk.com or (212) 450-6593.  We look forward to hearing from you.
