I called Homesavers because they promised to help with our mortgage. We were about to go into foreclosure and they sent me information that they try to rewrite your mortgage or have you pay back what you owe in small monthly installments. You were entitled to a refund if that didn't work. They stated that they were experienced with getting lenders to cooperate. Their CD touted that they were this wonderful christian company who were required to do volunteer work on Friday afternoons. I sent them $900 in a money order express mail which was required. They call me and tell me that they spoke to PCFS and they wanted $5000. I had told her that already. She said they wouldn't budge so she recommended bankruptcy and that for a "fee" they could fix my credit report. My mortgage company was furious and they actually called them while I was on the line and he got the run around. They finally gave me the address and name of the person to whom I could request a refund. I was denied-the reason: bankruptcy is a viable option to settle the mortgage problem which fulfilled their promise! They are a scam!!! Don't throw your money away!!!
