Homescope - Smarthome1 - Wesley A. White Took $16,000 for a computerized system for the disabled is unusable ripoff Mendham New Jersey
This company promised in a contract that they would provide a computer that could read and send e-mail, play movies on a TV, answer the telephone, and control environmental switches (light, fans, etc.) for a disabled person using their own communication device. They tried many different ways and devices, for many hours, while in our own home.
Obviously they were inventing the system as they went, but it never worked. They spent over two years trying, all the while saying "If this doesn't work, we'll give your monay back".
When we finally gave up on them and asked for our money back, they said "NO-- sue us." When we did, they sued us back! Having no source of income and being unable to work, the client could not afford a long expensive lawsuit, and they kept this clien't money.
