I have many "This End Up" furniture pieces without cushions I want to use in my family/basement/party room. I went online with my mother, saw the nice www.cratefurniture.com site and ordered swatches. They came quickly and were nice. We sat together, called "Patty" are received my "Google-online coupon price of $39 each piece." We order $360 bucks worth of cushions with a 8-10 week delivery (Which I told her was shocking and she answered with how long they take to make and how early September is not REALLY that long!). This order took place the first week of July.

My Visa Checking account was billed that next day TWICE! I had already left for Chicago for a college summer class and had my spouse call to fix the double billing. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had not had enough in the account, or needed the money for my class/trip. It took about 10 days to have the money put back in my account! Very upsetting and a bit troubling.

In the first week of October we had not heard anything from the company, so we called. We were told the items would be shipped the week of October 12th. NO ITEMS! We called and received an automated message that our material was backordered and it would be about 90 DAYS before we would see our cushions. Well, it is holiday time, family visiting, and we have NO FURNITURE for them to sit on! We cancelled our order, again leaving 3 messages on their automated message machine, as we have been unable to speak with a human being.

After reading all of the complaints against this company, I am upset to hear BBB hasn't done anything. I plan to call the VA police and VA BBB tomorrow to complain. I am worried I will never see my money again. AMAZING that this can go on over and over and someone is making money hand over fist. I wonder who is actually sewing these things if people are actually receiving this poor quality merchandise. Makes me scared to use the internet again!

If anyone has advice, please send it my way!July 2nd to December 26th....long time for no cushions and NO refund.

Beware bad check refunds

After months of the same situation and no "human" contact from Homespun, a refund check for the full amount appears in my mail. Unfortunately, the refund check is not honored by their own bank!
