 I concur with the above post. I also have been with HomeStar as a contractor for over a year. They were awesome as Energy. So awesome I dropped quite a few of my other clients as they were a hassle to deal with and had few properties in my area.

Energy had a lot of properties, they paid pretty well and most importantly-FAST!

Energy switched to HomeStar Property Solutions around February and things started to fall apart.  I had to constantly call in to my coordinators to direct them to open tasks and get things done.  It started to get aggravating.

The problems contininued and got far worse. Their payment terms as stated in the contracts was 10 days on most tasks and 30 on others.

I am owed over $7k and most jobs are over 5 months past due. I also noticed they were marking tasks paid in June that were not paid. I brought this up in many, many emails and none were addressed.  I figured they did this so their clients couldn't see their delinquency as thier clients also have acess to Atrium.

I had a $2,000 dump fee as the result of a nasty job for HomeStar. Before I opened up this account, they promised me the payment would be processed before 30 days as the dump was also tied to my water utilities. Long story short, my water got cut off for 3 weeks. When they finally paid, they paid 1/3 of that bill which is now 3 months past due.  It sucked when I had to winterize my own house to keep the pipes from freezing.

Despite my efforts to be patient, they sit on your money and claim "the VA has not paid their bill".

I have many, many emails back and forth to substantiate these claims.

It is my strong advise to stay away from this preservation company.
