Recieved Check for 4,960.00 Saying it was to pay FAT Foreign access Tax To recieve 41,000.00 I had one for shopping at one of over 250 stores.When you call the number i was to ask for Mark Caldwell Or Amy Bentley And they tell you to cash the check and take 3,150.00 toa western Union and send it to Terry Hanson at 95 Lenox Road Brooklyn NY 11226. The guy on the Phone doesnt speak english at all hardly and with the name Mark Caldwell (American name) i was immediatly suspicious. after sending the 2,995.00 from western Union your suppose to call back and give them the 10 degit transfer code then they will mail you the remaining money you won.After checking in to this M&T Bank Confirmed this is in fact a scam and the checks being wrote are not outhorized by them.BEWARE DONT REPLY TO THESE I PICKED UP ON IT BEFORE I CASHED THE CHECK BUT SOME MAY NOT!!!

WARNING HOMESTYLE TRUST, INC. IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM. DO NOT CASH ANY CHECK SENT TO YOU.
A deceptive organization currently known as Homestyle Trust, Inc. is distributing fraudulent copies of our checks to randomly selected American households. An official-looking letter accompanies each check notifying the recipient that they have been awarded a North American Grant. It appears that one of our legitimate checks to a vendor was stolen from the mail.
R&J Furniture Sales has nothing to do with this scam. Our bank, M&T Bank, reacted quickly to the situation by closing our account to minimize financial losses nationwide. We are a real company, operating two home furnishings retail stores in Western New York for over 40 years. We employ over 50 people, whose livelihoods depend on the success of our company. In the last few weeks, our daily business has been interrupted in order to react to the fallout of this disturbing scheme.
Federal authorities are investigating the situation and we hope that the perpetrators of this scam are brought to justice. Please be sure R&J Furniture Sales (dba FWS, Factory Warehouse Sales) is not involved in this scam other than as a victim of theft. Please do not fall for this scam.
