First contacted to service furnace on air conditioning unit. (leak) Service contractor came out 7/3/2018 and put a piece of tape on the face of the furnace unit (??) and stated he could't see where the leak was from but the tape may create suction. Paid $100 service fee at that time. Problem persisted and he came back out and stated it was probably caused by a defective drain pan but didn't know if they still made them for my unit and he would check. I followed up with the warranty company after several days and no contact from service provider (Jenzen Mechanical). Warranty company stated the drain pan was not covered.

I requested, since they were my warranty company, I wanted the repairs made and I would pay. They issued another service order for the service contractor to obtain drain pan and do the work. Several weeks no contact. In the mean time, after reviewing warranty agreement , I discovered the drain pan was covered. I called the warranty company and referred them to the contract and where it listed Covered Items and the the drain pan listed among those items. They agreed and once more I got another work order which they referred to the service contractor. I called the service contractor 7/30/2018 to relay this info. They agreed to obtain the part and be out at my home on 8/2 or 8/3/2018. According to their rep, they were moving me up to "the top of their list". They failed to show. I made calls on 8/3 to Jenzen Mechanical and finally left a message. It is now 8/13/2018 and no further contact.

I wrote a letter to the Virginia Dept of Insurance, state corporation commission on 8/9/2018 with my complaint and forwarded a copy to HomeSure of Virginia, Inc. I'm waiting now to see if anything comes of this but will have to enlist another contractor to put in a new unit...I cannot wait any longer.
