I had received a postcard in the mail to get a Mastercard, so I applied. They said I was 100% approved. I don't have any credit cards at this time, but thought it would be good to have to establish my credit, since I've paid cash for anything I've ever purchased it didn't help me to establish good credit,it's like having no credit at all. I never received a credit card or package as they told me I would receive. I got taken for 300.00. I keep calling the 1-800 number on the card, all I get is an answering machine and no representative to talk to. I've left several messages for them to call me back, and someone did call me back but they talked so fast I could't understand what they were saying. I'm gonna keep calling them until they get sick of me, like they made me feel sick to get scammed for 300.00.

i used to work for hometown financial about two years ago and i can say from first hand experience that they not only rip off the customers they rip off the employees as well. eric and dave are the two owners and they would make promises they could not keep not only to the emplyees but the customers. my best advise it to stay away from this company.
