Our mortgage was sold by Bank of America to Homeward Residential Mortgage Co. in April 2012

All funds held by B of A were transferred to include our real estate tax escrow account. We find out after receipt of notice from the county, that neither installment of the real estate tax payment has been paid, despite sufficient funds in the escrow account.

The webpage for Homeward - www.gohomeward.com reports that the first installment payment was made in June, 2012 - yet we can see all of the funds still in the account and with several phone calls find that the first installment wasn't paid, it was denied payment internally at Homeward with no reason.

They did not contact us in any case, we've been calling them for weeks now and keep getting a stall, 'call back' in three days, your case is in research. Call back the end of this week and we'll have all the details for you.  Then the person / persons we've been talking with are not available, in a meeting or ....  The nonsense continues.

Despite having sufficient funds to pay this year's taxes, nothing is happening, our house will be published for tax sale and if the taxes are not paid by 11/01/12 will be sold for the taxes.

We can't get any answers!
