Homeworks Plus unconsented charges to credit card Connecticut
I found a charge of $89.95 on a statement from a credit card that I NEVER use. Lo and behold it was to this company HOMEWORKS PLUS that apparently gives rebates to home improvement stores. Somehow they got my credit card number and processed a random charge. I've seen other claims on this reporting site for $135.95, $1.00, etc.
I am in the process of disputing this charge with my credit card company. I also was able to reach HOMEWORKS PLUS via the phone number that was on my statement. Suprisingly, I was able to reach a representative who eventually was able to rebate my money (hopefully in the next 2 days).
I was lucky that I caught this. I wonder how many others aren't as fortunate.
