Complaint Review: HOMEWORKSPLUS

HOMEWORKSPLUS ripoff - MEMBERSHIP FRAUD Does Not Appear Connecticut

Noticed a $199.95 charge on my CHASE Credit Card. When I called CHASE to question the charge, CHASE told me it was a membership fee that I had agreed to either on the Web or on the Phone. I told them I had NOT agreed to anything and that I wanted the charge removed. CHASE then transferred me to another person who apparently is connected to HOMEWORKSPLUS. Stacie # 24743 told me the same thing. I told her that I had never signed up for any Membership agreement and insisted that the charge be removed from my Card.

After several tenacious attempts to persuade me to continue the Membership (free gas card, rebate offers) she said that she would cancel the membership and credit the amount on the Credit Card.

It appears that the CHASE Credit Card people are involved in this SCAM, because they transferred me right to "HOMEWORKS PLUS". Needless to say, I have cancelled my CHASE Credit Card account. I would advise everyone to cancel their CHASE Cards. I was not happy with their response and they seemed to be involved in the SCAM.
