I am a very serious person to follow payments. Im in business and follow up the best I can to not have liabilities. Specially knowing and aware about conporation ripp offs. However I notice when I remit my payments to Honda Financial services from my Location in San Ysidro Ca zip code 92173 and Honda Financial Services is located at PO BOX 60001 City of Industry Ca 91717-0001 How can they record my payments like a week later. For instance I sent a payment back on July.08.08 when mail only takes one day to arrive to their PO BOX then when I received my lates statement they recorded it on July 14-08!!

How can somebody explained it took them a week to record my payment, I feel like they don't want me to finish to pay the liability by taking longer to record payment and all they do is trying to blame on me.

I record all the dates we send payment and when I call they just try to say: are you sure you send it on time? I'll be sending the payments registered mail and prove the speed of mail delivery and see how long once they have recieved the payment and the lenght of time they take to record our payments. I look at all my bills and by looking at my bills I noticed sometimes they don't record payments right away. Why?? because they make more money on the interest. pls somebody else join me to fight these!

Make your payments online.

Payments online get credited very speedily. They also don't charge you to make the online payment.

6 days for mailing a payment is pretty good. How do you know their PO Box got your payment the next day? Anyway, you mail it on Tuesday, July 8. The US Postal Service gets it at your zip code's processing center on Tuesday night. Then they send it out and by Wednesday night it gets to Honda's zip code's processing center. Then it gets distributed to Honda's PO Box on Thursday. Then, on Friday, someone from Honda goes to the PO Box and picks up all of Thursday's mail. Your payment could either be posted Friday the 11th or Monday the 14th, depending on the speediness of the rep posting your pile.

And that scenario is only good if the postal service only took 2 day to get your payment to Honda. By the way, Registered or Certified Mail takes a little longer to get there.

With simple interest loans, your payment is charged for the interest incurred since your last payment. If every payment takes 6 days to reach them, you are really not paying any additional interest.
