Honeywell International Inc. Accounts Receivable Officer Morristown New Jersey
I mistakenly sent my information in response to a junk e-mail from what appeared to be a mass letter from Honeywell International Inc. looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer. Since I recently registered a piece of equipment I bought from Honeywell, I figured my name was in their database.
Anyhow, I sent my name, address, and phone number to this account, and they confirmed my information. A few days letter, I received a check via UPS for $4,850. They ask that you cash it and send 90% to some bozo in the Philippines. I never cashed it.
It was uncharacteristic of me to even consider something like this, but it was a fairly well-written e-mail with a job description of a fairly easy job. Thankfully, I did a little research before submitting that check!
Please hunt these scammers down and prosecute them!
