Complaint Review: Hood Dreams

Company deals in athletic shoes and sports jerseys. My son heard about this website at school and in December 2003 talked us into ordering his Christmas Gifts from this company. He order shoes and a Jordan Jersey his shoes were received but not the Jersey. We have emailed, called and no response. Their voice mail box is almost always full and can't leave a message and when I have left a message they don't reply. They even provided us with a tracking number via email from the post office saying that our order was sent. That package ended up in California we live in Texas it wasn't our package it was a ploy to get us off their back. Complaints with Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs, in Washington have been no help. I told a Representative at Hood Dreams (May 7, 2004) the one and only time an actual person answered the phone about my complaint with the Better Business Bureau her reply "the Better Business Bureau don't do anything ...I will send you a check you should receive it in 10 to 15 days" we are still waiting. Visa has so many complaint departments that they just pass the buck. Hood Dreams website attracts young kids because of their shoes; they no longer sell any jerseys. Beware, of this website they may just take your money and hide. Warn Children! It's been over a year and we are still trying to get our refund and we will keep trying.
