I ordered a 'free' sample for a weight loss product and agreed to a shipping charge of $4.95. Received the sample of the product with 15 tablets of Hoodiaphen. Same day I received the sample my bank card was charged $149.95 by HOMERUN MEDIA LLC. Called the number included with the charge information and got into an endless loop. Found a number for PE Labs (1-888-527-0870 ) and spoke with a woman who rather sarcastically pointed out that if I had read the terms and conditions of the deal I signed up for I would have known that I would be charged $149.95 per month until cancelled. Moerover, if I wanted to cancel without getting more product from them, there would be a cancellation fee of $49.95 and that my account would be credited with $100.00. I was required to send an email authorizing and agreeing to the cancellation fee in order to receive the $100 credit. I told the woman I spoke with that I believed this marketing scheme to be deceptive and dishonest and wanted a full refund. Shetold me that it would not be possible to vary from the terms and conditions I agreed to when requesting the 'free' sample.

Ginger : this is obviously how they scam you, if that was the case then when they ship you the next two bottles why don't they send a packing slip, invoice, anything maybe even a return address, phone number..... anything. because you know that they dont even put that disclaimer where you can read it right up front.
Ginger : then they should have put that on the front page not in a link somewhere it's not seen, because let me tell you i didn't see anything like that anywhere when I was placing this order.

Ginger : I have sent this into certain complaint agencies along with a ton of other people, and if that was the case how do you expect these people to cancel after you send the free sample?
Reggie : We cannot force you to read what you are agreeing all we can do is provide the information for you if you failed to read that info it is not this companies fault because we povided the info for you

Ginger : This is how you keep taking peoples money, you keep beating around the bush and changing the subject
Reggie : to cancel an order all you had to do is submit a customer support ticket on this site within 15 days of the date you ordered the sample
Ginger : I want these shippments stopped as of right now, I have also notified the bank that you will be attempting to take this from my account. I will be filing paperwork at the bank against this as well, not to mention i will be getting a hold of ups to return this product since they will have your return information.
Ginger : I will be sending this to the news stations website as well that I got the hoodiaphen link from and letting them know the way you guys are dealing as well.
Reggie : Once the itme is shipped and billed all sales are final we do not accept returns nor offer refunds
