After almost being conned out of $300, I really did my research. I think I've just hit the tip of the Iceberg. The current scam that is being run is HoosierSalvage where for $300 you can buy in to some company information about moving truckloads of salvage pallets. It didn't sound too good to be true, but the gentleman presented himself as Lee Michaels, and a quick facebook search brought back results of Michael Back. During our chats he mentioned running a retail store selling used jeans, and I tied this in with his facebook.

Then I began searching his phone number and pulled a few addresses up. I did a county search for property records, and arrest records. Just in one county alone, there are seemingly infinite Tax Warrants that have been issued, as well as many small claims court judgements, bankruptcy, and a few other alias's and company names popped up. I found one result on BBB for his name, which lead me to his rental property scam website. It really looks like hes got his hands in anything and everything, and its all spun as many different ways as possible.

Some folks work real hard for their money and I hope that by putting as much of this information out there as possible, it keeps other folks from getting scammed.

Dear editor. Please edit your post to not include my name. I had business dealings with him in the past but since 2011 I have had zero connection to him. Furthermore I sued and won a judgement in lee County regarding this idiot. If you don't believe me I will be happy to send any documents to verify my position. Hi,

I saw an ad on craigslist on for the truck load salvage oppurtunity with a website. I have spoken to Mike several times in regards to the business oppurtunity and ask him how it works. He have told me that for $299 I would get a website made and all his information on how to start the truck salvage business. Before I purchased I mentioned to him that i wanted to host my own website on my host. He told me no problem that was not an issue. Every time I call he picked up and answer my questions. Everything sounded great after we spoke and committed to pay the 299. Once I paid for the service, I started not to get reponses like I did in the beggining in our conversations and started getting ignored by Mike. I would text him and call him and just got one text later and saying he left a message when I never did. I started worry about the transaction and thought i have been scam. I call and text him 9-26-16 and never responded back. Unexpected he answer with a text of info that did not make sense. Be careful with hoosierssalvage.com (aka Mike) Today I went to his site and it seems that it is gone.. Does not surprise me a bit!!! Beware Of this Scam
