Contacted Cari, he explained that the hydrogen units caused a gain of 1-4mpg on big rigs: "They're moving through here fast!" hype. Ordered two units and installed one on customer's truck: mileage dropped. Five visits to irate customer and Cari decides to send me improved unit: it works for a month and dies. Installed second unit on another truck: same crap. Make several visits to trucker before the unit breaks down and fries his batteries (the unit never worked).
Took Cari up on his promise of 3 year warranty and promise of refund if I was unhappy. Sent two units back Fedex (have paperwork that he recieved and signed, kept two as I figured he was a scammer.) asked him for refund and haven't heard from him since. I will follow up with small claims court.
On the phone he sounds like a nice guy but beware: his business ethics seem to be totaly out of sync with an above-the-board business. He always uses the "... gosh I don't understand why YOU are having this problem when I've never heard of that before...." dummy approach.
