I purchased a Hoover Nano Cyclone from local WalMart Store. I paid for a warranty that is supposed to be covered by Hoover. I have spoken to 3 different customer services reps. each one told me they didn't have a Service Center in our area. The 1st customer rep. said just wait until the warranty is up then WalMart will take care of it.  The 2nd customer rep. told me to hang on then left me on the phone for over a half hour, so I hung up and called again.

The 3rd customer service rep. wanted me to take it apart and try to fix it myself, I did some trouble shooting with her, but I cannot fix the vacuum. I asked if I could send the vacuum to them to be fixed and they said no. I am going to contact WalMart Headquarters to let them know that the warranties they are selling for Hoover in our area should not be sold to people.  Hoover's warranties are a RIP OFF. I couldn't find anywhere on the web site I was given by Walmart for warranty issues.

Mfr liable during warranty

Hoover is liable for product failure (electrical issues such as the power supply and motor) not physical damage.  IF you have a warranty problem, they are fully liable.  If they cannot provide you a repair solution, it is THEIR burden to make due, as in a gift card replacement.  Absense of such - file a claim in small claims court for product price plus court costs.
