Hopes Chihuahua claiming to sell chihuahuas but scamming for money Philadelphia, Nationwide
Hopes Chihuahua claims to be relocating so they will give you a top of the line chihuahua for a reasonable price. The man "Terrence" from Philadelphia, who is listed in another scam as "Kings," texted me at 11:40 pm, and e-mailed me back twice (one at 4 am,) asking if I was really there and spoke broken Englilsh. I said since I lived close, I would pick up the dog and give him cash in hand. He insisted that he was a "good, Christian man," and would not scam us yet he would need a deposit and his van would drop off the dogs. I said that unless he agreed to immediate cash payment upon receipt of the dog and letting us come and get it we would be looking for a new breeder. After seeing his other alias on this site, I called the police who sent me to an 800 number who told me this isn't the first call they've gotten about them. Thankfully, I know a scam when I see it. When I sent him the picture of the report on Kings and told him I was reporting him as well, he got very angry and called me an idiot. Guess he was a bit angry that I wasn't an idiot after all. Stay away from anything that won't let you give them cash in hand for your pet or product.
