I've been visited by your company and my employees have purchases various diverse items from your distributors. First, the items sold by your company are complete junk. Most of the items that have been purchased have become defective within the first month. Secondly, your distributors just happen to come into my business when we are very busy. My employees also work hard for their money; I give them great credit for that and they are payed fairly, and accordingly for it, and that makes them happy. My business has to compete with many others like it, making the same products. If I started to make or sell a second rate product, I would be out on the street in minute. I guess this is where your consumor brain-washing sales tactics come into effect, and why you're so popular on this website.

So why do you try to dump and push your less than useless products on people who do honest work , and work really hard for a living? We used to buy these products from you because we felt sorry for your distributors, who would come in wearing used, wrinkled, ripped, and torn suits. Some would walk into my business hiding a fake smile of embaresment, guilt, and sadness behind their fasade of brain-washed smarmy etched into their brain sales tactics.

So last summer, my business and many others on the block have decided to not purchase anything off of your company. We have all put up "no soliciting" signage. That doesen't stop you though! On on occaision we stopped one of your distributors and asked him if he didn't see the sign...He replied "we're trained not to see those" The next time I hear that from one you,or you enter this place of business again, we are phoning the police! Got it?

Businss Accociations in my area have recieved a memo about your company, have recieved a link to this webpage and are taking the same measures as I am. We are serious, and will not hesitate.

Be persistant with reps in the ds-max umbrella

Dear JC,

I was in the organization you are complaining about - not in BC, but in the States. It all stems from a loosely affiliated group of sister companies in the "ds-max" umbrella.

Your efforts to stop solicitation by Innovage reps will work only if you and the other businesses in the area are persistent. Having all the businesses in the area on the same page, training your employees and writing the authorities in your locale are all good things. But the reps are right, they are trained to ignore the signs and it is only through fortitude on your part that the reps will stop coming.

Another thing you could do is maybe hand some web sites to the reps on some scrap paper. The sales reps that do this kind of thing are deluded by dreams of false riches and are poorly paid. They are to be pitied, not shunned. There is a great msn user chat group called ds-max the aftermath which is filled with advice and stories from former reps about this horrible organization they were once part of.

Lastly, don't be lulled into a false sense of security this week. Normally the week between christmas and New Years is taken off - but it might have changed since I was there.

Good luck,
