I hired these people who use United Van Line trucks, to move me from Arizona to Georgia. I was told and shown how many awards they have from several years ago, how clean their warehouse is, but when it came down to hiring them to move my personal belongings, they are indeed dishonest.

The salesman didn't even give me info on the company to take home and read, nor did he tell me of the different insurance rates I could choose to secure my shipment. So

I got stuck insuring my shipment for .60 cents per
pound!! When my shipment came in, my sofas, clothes, pillows, etc. smelled like mildew from their warehouse (which I was told you could eat off the floor). Several things were broken, missing, and damaged! It took them 3 MONTHS to send me legs to a table that were riding in the belly of the truck the driver forgot about!! The women lied to me about the shipment date for those legs to the table.

BEWARE AND DO PLENTY OF RESEARCH WHEN HIRING AN INTERSTATE COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR VALUABLES. Also, check with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I filed a claim against this company through the BBB, which in turn they requested the claim be dismissed from their record!!
