Horizon Services Tried to rip me off for a new A/C unit Camden New Jersey? Nationwide
A/C unit was making noise so I called for them to have a look. The tech didn't even do a thing--said that from the noise I described I need a whole new unit to the tune of between 7 and 8 thousand dollars. A repair would only be a band aid but would cost between 1 and 2 thousand. Called an independent contractor who used some equipment to monitor all the functions and he said he could find NOTHING wrong at this time--and if it happens again to call him but he didn't want me to waste the $700 it would take to replace the likely part as long as it's working. Big difference in a repair estimate---these are thieves in my book.
