I started with Horizon Technologies (Millennium Plus GPS) in Sept 2007 by responding to one of their home business mailers. I called and they gave me a really good sales pitch. It sounded great. I signed up for $2,468.95. Within a week they called to pitch their mailer program. I was their "marketing arm," and even with the greatest product in the world but if no one knew about it, what good was it? I bought in for $8,800 (8,000 mailers). I never got a single lead off the "mailers". So, I decided to place an ad with a bonafide company at $300/mth for 8 months. I wanted to see my little company survive and protect my investment.

After spending another $2,400 I sold about 15 GPS systems. I found it very hard to believe that each trucking company was buying on 1 unit each! These were big companies. I wondered if my sales weren't being credited properly. When I voiced this concern I was told this would be unscrupulous. Eventually, I dropped my ad and sat dead in the water. That is, until I woke up to find my site down and the company out of business! No warning, no email. Yet, they were still charging my credit card $25/mth for the website. I had to change my card number and filed for refund of the last 60 days ($50 whole bucks). That's nothing after losing almost 14,000. I invested with Horizon Technologies in good faith. I feel they overestimated the financial returns on investing with their company. I don't think they sent out the mailers I paid for, and I don't think they credited me rightfully for my leads. I am filing complaints with the BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General's office through Business Recovery Services. I hope and pray I can get my money back. I would have better understood if they wouldn't have kept us in the dark and disappeared overnight without a word.
