My mother recieved her phone bill this month and in it were charges for using a long distance service from horizon billed through Integretel Long Distance.

When My Mother called Cheyenne told her that her son had signed up for an account on the internet months earlier and that they would not give her, her money back because we have the same last name and that proves that I did it.

First of all I live in florida and she lives in Utah and I have not used her phone number as my phone number for almost 6 years since I was 20. And another thing I am not even on her phone bill account I don't understand how they could add something to her account if I am not even on it.

When I called the company the woman(Cheyenne) that answered acted all smart and kept telling me that since the account was signed up for using my email address that I must have been the one who did it. Cheyenne even told me that my b-day was on the account and told me "you were born on 1/12/48 it has to be you." Funny thing is I what born 30 years later in 1978 and not even in January.

I told them that I wanted my mothers account to be credited Cheyenne told me that I had to send in a copy of my Drivers Licence to prove that I was born in 1978. Now that seems kinda scary sending in my real contact info and B-day to a company that is ripping me off.

I told her that I would not do it and asked her to charge my mothers account back or I would not contact that FCC. Now she didn't like that I was bringing the FCC into this problem. She told me that if I was to contact the fcc that I would never get my money back.

So I called the FCC and asked them what I should do. Willaim at the FCC and he told me to file a compaint. I was happy with this imformation and asked him what they do to companies like this one. He said that they send them letters asking them to respond and if they don't they send them another one or in other words they do nothing. (when will the american government stand up for our rights and shut down companies like this one.)

anyway everyone be carefull with this company don't give them your real info and I imagine that if enough people compaint to the FCC They will eventually do something. here is a link to the fcc website were you can file your complaint.
