Found a $34.95 charge for "HostAWebsiteMonthly Fee" on our monthly Qwest bill under Misc Charges and Credits.  Since we host our own professionally designed and maintained website, this was definitely a phony charge.

Tried to contact the number listed next to the charge (888-296-8076), which was the billing processing company (PaymentOne.com).  Their system automatically routes me to the HostAWebsite company (no option to talk to a live agent). 

Tried this several times and the HostAWebsite always said "all agents busy" and will not allow you to hold, and sends you straight to voicemail. 

Called back to PaymentOne from their website number (888-238-5295) and just held on the line (didnt choose any option).  Finally it connected me to a live person.  She tried to transfer back to HostAWebsite.  I promised (in a very stern, but not loud) that if she did not either credit the amount immediately or transfer me to her manager, my next call would be to the state Attorney General.  She put me on hold for a minute.  When she came back on, she said they were crediting the amount and putting a block on all future billings by HostAWebsite to my account.
