Booked a hotel room through Hotelquickly for Fort Walton Beach, Florida using the Trivago website.  Upon arrival I was informed at check in that my reservation had been cancelled.  Due to arriving without a reservation I had to pay a substantial amount more for my accomodations.  Upon contacting Hotelquickly through many emails i was told that the reservation was cancelled due to technical booking problems with the hotel and they "could not" credit the money they already charged to my card account and insisted that I accept a travel voucher instead.  Since I do not travel a great deal this in not acceptable and have come to the conclusion that I have in fact been scammed for the $297.75 they charged.  Buyer beware!  
Any future travel plans I have will be handled directly with the hotel where I stay and I will avoid using any internet travel sites especially Trivago where the initial booking occurred.
