Complaint Review: Hotelreservations.com

Hotelreservations.com I placed a reservation online. Received no confirmation #. Billed my credit card $13.00 - told me I had reservation but the hotel says I do not. internet

    I placed a reservation for two rooms for 4 nights at the Days Inn located in Hillsdale Michigan.  The resevations were for August 1-4, 2013.  When I submitted the reservation request I receiveed no itinerary or confirmation number, nor was an e-mail sent to me providing this information.  After placing the reservation my credit card was billed for $13.00.

    I have called the hotel directly and they have no reservations under my name.  I called Hotelreservations.com and they told me they can see my reservation but cannot change it.  I was told I could cancel the reservation but I would have to call another department - they could not transfer me.  When I called the number they provided, it was the number for Hotels.com; another company!   I am concernedI will be billed nearly $800.00 for rooms that were never reserved for me.

   This company has numerous complains online beginning with the words "scam" and "fraud."  I woulsd like an e-mail from this company telling the reservation was not placed, I will not be billed for the rooms, and they are sorry for the inconvenience.
