Hotels.com Hoteles.com Total Rip Off / Stranded in Mexico Internet
Booked a room through Hotels.com in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, requested and received confirmation in Spanish. Nightly room rate 480 Pesos reserved for two nights. We were charged $1,120.80 USD (should have been PESOS!), a difference of almost $1000.00. Contacted Hotels.com. hotel and bank immediately, no resolution, denied ability to cancel 2nd night. This was a two star hotel (Rosita) who quoted us a rate of 600 pesos per night, we showed them the hotels.com offer and used their computer to book the room. There were 5 Star hotels and all inclusive hotels in the same area on the same dates available for far less. This is a total SCAM, seeking legal action.
