Hotelsone.com Overcharged, false guarantee, non refundable, terrible customer service Internet

 This is the worst online reservation site we've ever experienced. For starters their rates are excessive compared to the actual hotel site, which we thought we had reached in response to our search. Thinking we were on our intended Best Western Hotel site we attempted to book our reservation. Their mobile web site is poorly laid out and less than satisfactory , while "nonrefundable" wasn't easily discernible! Upon realizing we had booked via a third party web site, we immediately attempted to cancel our booking, but were refused via email. Their customer service was about impossible to access via phone, continually recycling you to a voice loop that precludes talking with an actual person.

Being placed on hold and then cut off, requiring excessive calls to actually reach someone. Once reached we were referred sequentially to three different numbers, with the third and final individual providing a 4th number which actually turned out to be a wonderful individual, who was unfortunately at General Mills. Wishing a refund we literally spent several hours unsuccessfully attempting to resolve our overcharged reservation with Hotelsone.com, ending up being overcharged almost 20% more than placing our reservation directly with the hotel despite their "Lowest price Guarantee!" Were it possible to rate them lower I would. I deeply regret our unfortunate and frustrating experience with their site!
