Complaint Review: Hotmail

After noticing that my accounts were being hacked into, I attempted to have them shut down. The "close my account" link in the help section did not work, so I contacted customer service. They told me they could not manually shut down my account, they could only wait for ninety days of inactivity.

They pointed me back to the bum link. I explained again that the link did not work and that I wanted a link to someone or something that would shut down the accounts. Again, they replied with the same link.

As of now, they are attempting to ignore me, the links are still inoperable, and my accounts are still being hacked into, despite password and security question changes. I hope that this filing will serve as a warning to others and prevent such tactics in the future.
