Complaint Review: Hotrait

Hotrait They sent me the wrong item which is inferior to the advertised one, then when I asked for a refund, they demanded that I sent it back via DHL or UPS, whereas they sent it to me via regular post. In Australia we only have DHL, and the cost of return AU$93 is greater than the refund AU$81.70

I contacted the seller for a refund, as the item they sent was significantly different to what they had advertised. They said they would refund it after I sent the goods back to them by DHL or UPS only. In Australia we only have DHL, and the cost to send this item back to China is about AU$93, whereas the refund is only US$59.98 (AU81.70). This is ridiculous, so I complained to PayPal, they sent me standard e-mail telling me to ship back and supply tracking number. This is clearly a fraudulent seller sending people the wrong item they know will not be returned because of the ridiculous shipping back charges for an item they sent with regular mail. I had a bunch of e-mail back and forth with PayPal, finally advising me to contact my bank to lodge a complaint and ask for a refund. I also emailed the seller again but didn't hear from them.
