Hotwire.com Hotel, ripoff, false booking San Francisco California
I booked a hotel through Hotwire.com on 11/02/2016, for one night in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Drury Plaza hotel in downtown Cleveland. After driving hundreds of miles and several hours, I arrived at the hotel and was told Hotwire.com sold 5 rooms to 30 people. A Drury employee told me I was being 'relocated' by Hotwire to another downtown Cleveland hotel. Instead, I was offered options more than 30 minutes/miles outside of downtown Cleveland. In addition, I was hung up on or disconnected multiple times by Hotwire.com, I spent over two hours on and off the phone with them. The company refuses to do anything but place the blame on others.
