Hound.com SCAM! Will not answer phone. Caught up in hold system when trying to cancel!! Pasadena California
I should have checked before signing up for a free trial, but since Hound.com was linked in a reliable source's article, I decided to sign up for the free trial. There were NO jobs in my area, and I had a really hard time navigating the website to figure out how to cancel during my free trial.
FOR GOOD REASON. They want to take my $29.95. I have now been on hold for over an hour, and hung up on once. I cannot get through to cancel--which can be done only over the phone, and not by email or through their site.
Hound.com, no matter what you hear, has poor customer service and obviously wants to make money by scamming job seekers, rather than helping them.
Shame on them. Job seekers do not need to be exploited. With my husband and I both being laid off, this is the absolute last thing we need.

I cancelled my Hound subscription within the period and had no problems.
I did not find a selection on the website to cancel, but did use the information from one of the complaints to call their number.
