First, they told us that we would receive our furniture in 6 to 8 weeks. It turned out to be at least 4 and 1/2 months.

They also told us that we would not be charged sales tax. But over 2 years later, we received a letter from the Department of Revenue stating that we owed sales tax on purchases we made in North Carolina and that the interest rate was accruing rapidly.

I paid these people over $4,000 in a cashier's check up front and had to literally fight to receive what we had paid for.

I would never, ever do business with them again in life. Their customer service (Rosemary) was rude and got to the point where she wouldn't receive calls from me.

I ended up having to retain a lawyer in order to get what I paid for in good faith up front.

They are horrible, misleading, a rip off and liars.

If you read the brouchure it clearly states "We don't charge the tax".

We clearly stated in the brouchure and on both the front and back side of the contract that we don't charge tax. It is also explained that delivery time frames are subject to the manufacture. How would anyone expect that any furniture store could control another factory? We proved our success by selling over $10 million for more than 17 years until he tax laws changed and the factories thought that they could do business with out the small furniture store.

Look today and see what customers like you have done to the small business owner. Quality has gone overseas... Not to mention the 30+ employees that lost their jobs becouse of consumers like you. Within every complaint 100% of the time a refund was offered.
