Complaint Review: House Hunters

I used to live at 767 Montecito Dr. Los Angeles, Ca. I looked up a search through Trulia on 1/26/14, for Homes to rent in Montecito Heights. I found a picture of the house that used to be right next door to me saying 3 bed/3 bath $1595 per mo. (Which by the way is $700 less than when I rented). I called the contact information listed as Lucas Souza
lucas.souzarealty@gmail.com (866) 949-7343 to inquire. I was told by an Erick Bedford that the home was available for rent or a lease option to buy without a credit check. He required I pay $40 to begin and told me to go to http://www.newhousehunters.com/ to register & gave me his direct ext. 1023.

I am actually a Real Estate Proffesional and since MKT Properties "used" to be the property Manager on this home & it all sounded to good to be true... I called MKT. They confirmed my suspicions. The home is still being managed by MKT and is occupied with a tenant in the middle of a lease with no intentions to move. This Company is a complete hokes!!!!! If I hadn't lived there before. I could of possibly gave thousands of $$ to begin a "fake" lease option to buy! I dodged the bullet but, I'm sure others won't be so lucky!
