Do not use New House Hunters. I called to get information on a listing after seeing an ad on Craigslist; they said I had to pay $40 for the information, promising a great deal on the listing.  After being persuaded to pay, I was given a log-in to their website but didn't receive any helpful or useful information, yet I was issued recurring charges on my credit card after that for 4 months, each for $40.  I called the company and also emailed, and faxed numerous times to cancel this and to get a refund but kept getting the run-around, being told my claim would be resolved in 1-3 business days but hearing and receiving nothing.  After weeks of calling every day I finally got through to someone who told me that when you sign up you agree to their terms of a monthly fee, although this was never explained when I first called, otherwise I would not have signed up.  I was finally able to at least get a partial refund, which is better than nothing, but I was not happy with how long the process took and that I had to be so relentless in calling and emailing everyday for weeks just to get that.  I suggest going through free websites, a real estate agent, or the print newspaper for house listings rather than this company; they are unclear about the monthly fees and do not provide any information that can't be found on your own elsewhere and for free.  All of the other reports on this website about New House Hunters is accurate.  To quote another post: "Call a real estate agent. Do your own research. Don't pay $40 for a silly, outdated list. These guys aren't offering you anything you can't get for free."
