House of Iron aka AZ Barstool Connection (Shane Khubchandani, Owner) Rip-off! They took my deposit but never delivered my furniture and won't return calls! Glendale Arizona
Shane Khubchandani took a significant deposit Feb. 22, 2004 from my wife and I for furniture to be delivered in 4-5 weeks. Every time we called he said the supplier was way behind, etc. We finally went by the store and found that the place was empty.
My wife tracked down the new store Shane and his wife Carla opened in Scottsdale called AZ Barstool Connection (phone 480.513.3619). The new store is on McDowell Mountain Ranch Rd & 104 St. We found Shane in the store and asked him about the missing furniture and deposit. He still assures us that the furniture is coming in. I understand that Shane & House of Iron has filed for bankrupcy.

We met a few years back in the Arizona Republic suite at an Arizona Rattlers game. At that time, you did not hesitate to introduce yourself as the owner of the House of Iron. My question to you is this: If, in fact, the House of Iron owes you $6,000, then why do you continue to work for them (as the company has changed locations and names)? Your response smells a bit fishy...just an observation.

I (Shane Khubchandani) did not own House of Iron. I merely managed the store. The company has filed for bankruptcy, but I HAVE NOT. The report above says that I have. House of Iron still owes me $6000.00, and I have claimed that with the bankruptcy court.
There is a store in town that is in competition with us, and is filing false reports.
