Household Bank (Credit Services) (Financial Services) Legality of Charges deceptive company ripoff business from hell Salinas California
I was given a Household Bank credit card while applying for a personal line of credit with Beneficial. I had never activated the card since I've had it. I have been charged an annual fee for the card which not pointed out to me when the card was given to me. On top of that, I have been charged late fee's, interest fees (at 25%) and over the limit fees. This has all been on a card that I have never, ever made a purchase on.
I am trying to find out, is it legal for them to charge me an annual fee for a card that has never been used, let alone activated? I just can't believe that I now owe $1018 on a card that I have never purchased anything on.
