Household Bank Formerly Beneficial ripoff, Rapid tax refund, did not recieve tax return money, accused of owing THEM money, is now on my credit report Ontario California
This occured in the early '90's when I was a single mother. Went to H & R block to file taxes and recieve rapid refund. After a couple of weeks I called the bank to see what had happened to the money I was to receive; they informed me that I was the one who owed money to them! After several attempts to resolve the situation, I dropped it. This is currently on my credit report as a lein, I would like to get this resolved.

Hello!
I was unclear in a couple of things regarding your post. You stated that H & R Block did you taxes, however the bank said that you owed them money.
Could you clarify a couple of things? Did H & R Block not file the return? Did the money not make it to the bank? Or did the bank do something with it after they received it? Or are you unsure?
That clarification might help us (the readers) understand your situation better, and be able to offer help.
Thanks!
