I received Household Bank Master Card 2 months ago, but was not able to active it. In order to activate it the bank requested
a. Copy of my driver license,
b. Copy of my SS card or W2 form

I send all required documents 2 month go, but Household Bank Master can not find it. Then I've requested to close my account, but they refused for "security reason".

I was billed $48 annual fee for the card that can not be activated. Then $20 late fee has been added.

I've talked to customer service about 8 times, and they can not solve the problem.

I am a customer of Orchard Bank and have been for many years. This company is not a scam. Household bought out Orchard Bank. I suggest contacting the Better Business Bureau to find out more about this company.

There is a company out there called Beneficial Client Care who claims that they are household bank, however they are not affiliated with household what so ever. This company is a scam. This is the company that changes there Po Boxes and telephone numbers. It's a good idea to turn Beneficial Client Care into your state attorny generals office and the better business bureau.

Identity Theft - REPORT it ASAP

#3Consumer Suggestion

Household Bank aka Orchard Bank Master Card is an identity theft scam. The scammers use the name of a legit bank, but they are an invisible group with always changing poboxes, phone numbers.
They were less interested in your money, they wanted your personal data, the copy of your ssn, w2, drivers license to steal your identity, to get id-s on your name.
CALL your police, ss office, your dmv, report this ASAP. Then call the three credit bureaus fraud hot line.
EQUIFAX Fraud # (800) 525-6285

TRANSUNION CORPORATION Fraud # (800) 680-7289
