COMPLAINT AGAINST HFC Financial Services (HSBC Group Member)
.Dated July 14, 2008 received a letter from HFC saying they were unable to approve my recent loan application. I never applied for a loan! Concerned about how your Associate got my personal information.

.No dated letter received July 25, 2008 from HFC signed by Sandra requesting documents in order to finish loan application from my wife. She never did an application for a loan and she never had a phone or personal contact with that associate from HFC.

.I contacted you at your office requesting a reasonable explanation. You did it with a signed letter. Then I contacted you again by e-mail requesting information about the letter from one of your Associates to my wife. Your answer was the same AN ERROR. At this time I think that is not an error, as I said to you in my first e-mail. It is absolutely related with your associates every day business practice.

.Based on all those events, your answers are now unacceptable. You did not mention anything related with this wrong behavior Your own words at your e-mail tried to cover that with an unacceptable statement: there was an error and the system automatically generated those letters.

.My wife called to your Associated Sandra, she mistrusted and mistreated my wife like she was who did all the errors. She said to my wife: What else do you want me to do, my boss already explained it to your husband, he did not told you nothing? What do you want do you want me to tell you sorry? SORRY, SORRY, SORRY. That was with a rude and sarcastic voice. I think that is not an appropriate customer service behavior.

.Be advised I contacted the headquarters of HFC related with this business practices requesting an investigation in our behalf.

.Also, be advised I contacted the consumer credit agencies and put a 'fraud alert' on our accounts. I really do not know what else I can do; at least I feel a little 'safer' now.
