HouseValues is a total rip-off company. The representative that contacted me sold me on the fact that I would get exclusive guaranteed 3-5 leads a month.

I joined mid August of 2004. In the whole month of September I received two leads one of which was a bogus lead and the house number did not exist according to First American Title Company.

Sent out four (4) cancellation notices to HouseValues, eventually someone got back to me and they wanted half of the whole year's subscription fee??

Wait a second, HouseValues breached the contract by not providing me the 3-5 exclusive leads they guaranteed per month. They go on to say in the agreement which was faxed to me in mid September, that if HouseValues does not provide the 3-5 leads then they would adjust the subscription fee?? I was not even offered that, not that I would want to do business with this company anyway.

First of all I was promised 3-5 exclusive guaranteed leads a month, now they are flip flopping? The rep. from HouseValues never mentioned such a thing; that is like entrapment and fraud in my eyes telling me one thing and doing another.

I've written to the Secretary of State in Washington, I would urge you to do the same. http://www.secstate.wa.gov/

I'm being harassed by a collection agency called 'rpm' seeking to get the balance due for the remainder of the annual contract. We'll see about that.
