I agree with all the reports previous to this.

This company has promised me good leads and they are mostly bogus or uninterested parties who are only slightly curious about the property they live in or already have a realtor and are just double checking. I do not blame the sellers or buyers, because the company advertizes itself as a FREE service. But they give not service, all the service is done by the realtor at the realtor's expense.

I have been in this business full time for 12 years and have never before signed up for a service like this. They are slick when they talk to you on the phone, they promise the moon. What angered me is that they promised to call me or contact me through email before the three month trial period was up and the price increase x4, to allow me to re-evaluated the service and opt out of it or renegotiate the terms.

I contacted my attorney when my credit card was maxed-out to the hilt with no notice. I have been fighting them and blocking their charges on my card. I have renegotiated with them, not to my satisfaction, but with my attorney's help, So please contact me and I will tell you more.

I do believe a class action law suit is possible here, but we need more people. Definitely report them to the authorities and the media in your state. If you want to reach me, contact rip-off report.com management and they will forward your email to me. I want to keep some distance at this point because housevalues does know about this web site.

Very Interesting... Please come forward

#3Consumer Suggestion

What you have said is very interesting. I wish your friend would come forward. Maybe this person could still be protected and testify or give an affidavit to my attorney. I am still trying to negotiate with HouseValues, and when we came to an agreement in writing, the person who represented them changed her mind and tried to charge my credit card again. The credit card company reversed the charge and she emailed me a scathing letter and blew up the negotiated deal.

My attorney is presently working on this. I sure could use some help here. If I get this resolved or pressure this company into leaving me alone, it will be good for everyone else. I have complained about HouseValue to one of the largest real estate consumer reports because they are beginning to quote them nationally like they know something about selling real estate. I bet you Housevalues employees never sold a house in their lives. My next contact is the Department of Real Estate here in California. Please help me if you can and tell your friend to contact me.
