Houston Amateur Radio Supply Radio Repairs ripoff Spring Texas
Houston Amateur was sent my Yaesu ft-920 to repair, I told them all the symptoms and asked them to keep it for as long as was needed to repair it correctly. they kept it about 24 hrs told me it was a bad resistor, and told me the price would be 200.00 dollars.
I begged them to look further but they assured me that it was fixed so they sent it back to me. It wasnt, they wouldnt give me a refund. I sent it to YAESU they fixed it and mailed it back to me for 143.00 dollars. it works now and I got a list of what really was wrong with it.
I forwarded this list to H.A.R.S. and again asked for a refund, no dice. they charged me for work they didnt do and kept my money. I have no further use for them.

Hi Joey,
I am very sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with Houston Amateur Radio Supply in the past. HARS has been under new ownership since 2012 when Dave, NA5CW, took over the business from Mr. Diletto. We have definately struggled to rebuild our reputation because of the lack of customer service the store had before. We would love to show you what we are made of now. If you decide to give us a second chance we would love to take care of you properly. Call us anytime.
