Howard, Barrett, And Young Sent me an "Official" Statement of Notification as "Recipient" of Prize of $250,000.00 Las Vegas Nevada
This bogus "Law Firm," sent me a very official-looking Legal Certificate entitled "OFFICIAL LETTER OF REQUISITION." It was in segmented & partitioned complete with watermark. It partly read; "You are hereby served formal correspondence fully establishing your recognition as known recipient Alfred (blank) for prize payment data, in full and for the entire amount of *****$250,000.00- Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars - in money and prizes*** now pending direct delivery to you by our executive offices." Now I know that singular word; "data" makes it legal (?) but in ALL other respects, it is purposefully misleading and fraudulent.
The Notification goes on to stipulate that..."our obligation to notify you ONE TIME ONLY with regard to this extraordinary NEWS has been fulfilled, and your full cooperation and immediate reply are thereby REQUIRED!" As such, we urge you to submit proper filing documents today. WE MUST HAVE THIS IN WRITING!
The spirit and intent of this document's structure, appearance, vocabulary, and purpose is clearly to defraud through misrepresentation, and to solicit funds & access to banking information. It goes on to warn of the firm's legal right to "ELECTRONICALLY DEBIT YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE FACE AMOUNT OF THE CHECK and NSF charges, and the State Allowable Fee!
The form actually uses the very same font and form designations as IRS Documents! The similarity between it and Official IRS Documents is surely NO ACCIDENT!
