Howey Industries Wheels now a ""Non-tangible goods." BE careful! Orland Park Illinois
I ordered and completelly paid forgestar F14 wheels from this company Howey Industries. After contacting with Paul: "Delivery time 4-6 weeks", 11 weeks later NOTHING.
So I claim Paypal for full refund, HOWE´S REPLY: "Non-tangible goods. This is an invoice for a deposit (please see invoice terms and conditions)." + "Item delivered online tracking # Download Complete"
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??? so you can take your own conlcusions. Now waiting for Paypals response, hope will get my full refund. This company is Fraudulent behavior.

This ripoff reports case was recently brought to my attention by one of our customers. I apologize in advance to any customers that may have read this report and found no reply from Howey Industries Inc. We were unaware this report existed.
It should be first noted that the individual filing this report "ANTONIO" has been refunded for his purchase once we were made aware that he wished to cancel his custom order.
The item that was purchased was a set of custom wheels. The customer was made aware that a longer than usual lead time could be a possibility for this particular set of wheel (due to a back order status for these sizes) at the time of order. Unfortunately, this order took longer to manufacturer than everyone expected.
However, the customer never contacted us directly with a request to cancel and refund the initial deposit. Instead, the customer filed a paypal dispute on on a non-refundable deposit. At the time, Paypal classified deposits on custom orders as non-tangible items and provided the above stated response.
It should also be noted that once "ANTONIO" was made aware of why he received this initial response from paypal, he removed this same report from all other review and social media sites (yelp, facebook, google, etc) but unfortuantely ripoff reports does not allow you to remove a report once it is published, even if the author wants to delete the report.
Howey Industries specializes in custom orders that are manufactured to specification and even though lead times can vary from order-to-order, we take customer satisfaction very seriously. If anyone has a concern regarding this reported incident, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
