Hoy Fox Toyota of el paso rolled back miles on a truck I bought El Paso, Texas
I bought a 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck and a Nissan Murano at Hoy Fox Toyota in El Paso, TX. Years later I tried to trade my truck for a Toyota in another dealership and a CarFax was printed out for my Chevy pickup truck and on the report it was evident that the miles on my pickup truck had been rolled back. Then I asked the dealer to print out the CarFax of my pickup truck. Later that week I also printed out a CarFax for my Nissan Murano and it also had rolled back miles.
We talked to one of the manager at Hoy Fox about my problem, my wife and I tried to get back our $3,000.00 dlls. deposit for the Murano and we wanted for Hoy Fox to buy back our Chevy truck due to the illegal alteration that had been made to my Chevy truck and Murano. The manager only wanted to give us a few hundred dollars for the Murano and for the truck, as if that was sufficient for the illegal alteration of the vehicles.
The manager then went to talk to his supervisor and as he was gone my wife asked me if it was possible for them to do nothing about the alteration, I told my wife that they had to do something because they know what they did and wont want to settle this in court. When the manager came back he stated that nothing was going to be reimbursed;as we left we told the manager that we were going to contact a lawyer, and he simply said that's fine." . So if any one can help us fight for what is right and just we would surely appreciate it; as we have the CarFax to prove it.
The CarFax report shows that the miles were rolled back on the truck 32,800 miles and on the Murano is 8,700 miles.

I am in your shoe at the moment, but different situation. We did a trade-in but less than 24 hours we were back and told them we decided not to do the trade-in. Juan the General Sales Manager agreed to give us back our trade-in if the bank did not accept the contract. Which some odd reason, it happened that the bank did not funded the new vehicle. So we were asked to sign a new contract which we refused.
Now we are filing a civil lawsuit against Hoy Fox Toyota.
All Hoy Fox employees, managers and all there stated that our trade-in was sold. We just got pictures today that our trade-in is still sitting in their lot for sale at $18,000.00 when they only gave us a trade in of $9,000.00!!!
I would say, file a lawsuit against them. You guys got a case if you got the carfax to proof that they roll back the miles on your vehicles. Don't let this happen to anyone else. Let the people of El Paso know that Hoy Fox is a scam!!! They are liars!!
