I purchase 3 HP TX1410us touch pc's.  All the pc now do not work for the exact same reason.  I turn the power on and all the lights light-up and the screen is black.  nothing else.  I have spoken to several tech's at HP and other service centers.  HP recommends the motherboard to be replace at a fee of over $400 each.  HP states that it is a known problem that a chip over heats and inseats (melts) itself from the motherboard.  One tech stated the the laptops life is 3 years.  If I knew 3 years, I would have never purchase the laptops ($1200 each).

There are thousands of people that purchase this laptop and are dealing with the same exact problem.  HP needs to fix this manufactuar problem.  HP needs to replace or repair my laptops.  One of my laptops was repairs because it broke within the warrant time.  But is broken with the same issues 6 months later.  The other two laptops broke several months after the warrant time (1 year) expired.
