give this here a shot here, first unplug your printer then go to start-> control panel-> printers and faxes and look and see if the C4150 is installed. If it is try uninstalling it, restart your computer and plug it in. If you are running windows it should take you through an installation CD where it would install itself. Sometimes it will prompt you for a CD. If you no longer have a CD try going to the HP website and download the driver. It should work. Be sure to make note of any error messages.

Its not HP's fault that your printer wont work, most computer issues are due to operator error. If you think about it the life of a printer they actually dont last that long. Im no HP nut or anything, infact I kind of hate them but my sister happens to work tech support for them and other then having most of their business in India they're a pretty fair company ;-)
