H&R Block Deducted and kept funds from my tax return that they were not entitled to Kansas City MO

I filed my 2019 tax return with H&R Block as I have for many years. Included in the documents filed by my tax preparer was a 1099C Cancellation of Debt in the amount of $1250.00. Block deducted the payment for the debt regardless and has yet to communicate or correct their error. I first addressed this issue with them on February 27, 2020.

The IRS deposited $2664.80, the balance of my refund, on 2/26/2020. HRBlock deposited $325 into my bank account and are unable to tell me what happened to the balance of my refund, but they also have not replaced the funds. I made arrangements for payoff of $638 for a bill based on that refund amount and was forcesd to default on the agreement, making me responsible for the full amount of the debt, over $3k.

As a result my children and I are couch-surfing. This has been expressed multiple times and nothing has been done. I get excuses and "hurry up and wait" responses.
